About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper

  • ½ tsp salt


Preparation

  • Soften the Butter: Let your butter come to room temperature so it’s easy to mix.

  • Mix the Flavors: In a bowl, combine the softened butter with garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and all the spices.

  • Add Herbs: Stir in the chopped parsley for a fresh, earthy finish.

  • Blend Well: Use a fork or hand mixer to whip everything together until smooth and well combined.

  • Chill or Serve:

    • Serve immediately for a soft, dip-like consistency.

    • Or wrap in parchment and chill for at least 30 minutes for a firmer, sliceable butter.
